Infant Toddler Services
Hope starts with a plan.
Our Proposition:
Infant Toddler Services of Kansas is doing important, powerful work for the youngest residents of our state. They employ teams of licensed early intervention professionals through a statewide network of programs to serve families and young children in their homes at no cost to the family. Early intervention can make a tremendous impact on children and their futures.
Our Mission:
Infant Toddler Services of Kansas supports the needs of Kansas families with infants or toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities so every child can learn, grow, and achieve their fullest potential.
Building brighter futures.
Who we are:
- Licensed early intervention professionals
- Dedicated professionals who genuinely care for children and believe in helping others
- State agency vs. private
- Services provided at no cost vs. paid
How we do it:
- In-home visits (visits in the child's daycare, home, or other natural learning environment)
- Individualized service plan for the child
- One primary provider with a team of support and resources
- Focus on increasing the confidence and competence of the caregivers so they learn how to help their child
What we do:
Provide early intervention therapy/services at no cost for children with developmental delays (0-3) and their families/support systems
Why we do it:
- Federally recommended program (IDEA - Part C), implemented by the state of Kansas
